Life’s good in the kitchen, something I discovered after I started to get in there and learned to cook. My childhood was filled with memories of a kitchen filled with delicious aromas emanating from boiling pots and something baking in the oven. To this day, the scent of baked bread is my favorite, and brings me right back to my grandma’s warm, delicious rolls.
Today, I love to bake cookies with my boys and let them stir the batter or whisk eggs, or include them in some way so they grow up with fond memories of our life in the kitchen as well. I also love cooking shows, like The Kitchen. Featured on Food Network, Katie Lee is the host of The Kitchen, and LG is a sponsor (the entire kitchen on the show will be filled with LG appliances for Katie to create and share her amazing recipes…everything from the refrigerator to the ovens and cooktop are LG, even the microwaves). I’ve always known Katie Lee as the girl who looks like Jenny from Love Story who also happened to write a great cookbook, so I’m looking forward to seeing The Kitchen and checking out some of what she is working with.
