To my sweet boy,
It’s a new year, a time for new adventures…this month you played in the snow and watched the snow, visited the Cradle of Aviation to learn about air travel and space travel, learned about dinosaurs (and I learned you refuse to have any interest in the Stegosaurus, you are a T-Rex kind of guy).
You also still like to play with boxes, draw our family very well, and strongly resemble a mini Bruce Lee (you really need a haircut but daddy thinks it’s too cold to get one yet).
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year with my two little men.
Love always,
Mommy

Every month I write letters to my sons as part of a circle of moms who want to remember the days of our children’s lives. You can visit the next blog in our monthly circle here.

That is so sweet. When they grow up and become men, they will be able to read those letters and know how much you love(d) them.
I love these. I forget too many of the wonderful little things my kids do and need a better way to remember them later. I’ll have to try something like this.
That is so sweet. I need to do this for both of my children.
So sweet, sounds like he is growing bigger and bigger each day. It will be fun for him to look back on these memories when he is older!!
Your letters always make me all smooshy inside. They’re so sweet! (And P, thank you for the note. It made me cry with happy.) xo
What a fun month! My boys prefer t-rex too 🙂
They are just too sweet and getting so big! As always love the pictures.
So sweet! My little one loves to play with boxes too. It’s like a universal sign of childhood 🙂
I love the expression on his face over the amazon box. My daughter is excited about packages all the time too. 🙂 LOL at Bruce Lee. I had to go back and look at what you were talking about.
What a cute little guy! His smile is contagious 🙂
What a sweet boy, they get so big so fast!
that second photo with the amazon box – priceless! looks like he just scored a really great new toy! 🙂
He keeps getting cuter and cuter!
That’s a very sweet post. I need to start doing these for my kids.
What a sweet boy. I love how he is peeking in the box.
You always have such beautiful photos. Love the short but sweet note to your son.
I just love the middle photo, with the box. It’s so bittersweet to watch them grow up, isn’t it?
Gah, I miss those dinosaur days. What a sweetie!
I love the photo with your little in the box. Those moments are just the best! What sweet boys you have.
My kids love a good box too! I love, love, love the image of your son in his!
I love, love that photo of your son at the window. So soulful and precious. Look forward to seeing more in the months to come!
So sweet. Great photos.
What a busy month! Isn’t it great that, no matter how much they grow, they still like playing with boxes?!
Sounds like him & my son would be best friends- they have so many shared interests!
So sweet! They are both getting so big.
I love the image of him playing in a box!! That is my favorite! Great capture.
Total cuteness! U love the last photo where he’s looking out the window, it’s very nice!
That one is my favorite 🙂
I love the one of your son in the box! Such a true boy!
Sweet – the boxes will intrigue for many years yet 🙂 I loved that when our daughter was little she would want all the shipping boxes to decorate and build things with.
