Find The Right Fit For Your Baby, Right From The Beginning

One of the more challenging aspects of bottle feeding a baby is finding one that your baby will take to. You want something that mimics your own breast if your baby was nursed, so the transition is more comfortable, but we are all different, and so are our babies. For this reason, Playtex’s innovative new product, the Nipple Variety Pack, can be one of the best solutions for this frustrating problem.

The Playtex Nipple Variety Pack comes with four BPA free silicone nipples with distinct shapes, and all can be used with the Playtex Nurser and VentAire wide bottles. The four varieties include a breast-like shape, NaturalLatch, full-size with a wider mouth, and angled for upright feedings, and are available in various flow rates for various stages.

When you have the right bottle nipple, you know right from the start whether your child is rejecting the bottle, or actually just rejecting an uncomfortable nipple, and you can mix and match to make sure your baby is as happy and comfortable while feeding as possible.

I actually never bottle fed my sons, and the reason is because both hated the bottle. The truth is, I don’t know that the problem wasn’t just a wrong fit, because most babies find bottle feeding comforting if mom isn’t around, and the Playtex Nipple Variety pack wasn’t available a few years ago when I was struggling trying to figure out how to encourage my sons to bottle feed. It was an expensive process to try to find the right feeding system, but now it’s easier and more affordable. The Playtex Nipple Variety Pack can help take the confusion out of finding the right fit for your baby.

  • Playtex bottles have always been my favorite.

Quinny only gets bottles when I’m not around, but so far there’s been no rejecting them.

I’d love to win these for myself – we’re going to start transitioning to bottles in about a month

I breastfed, but would have loved these for when I pumped so my husband could experience feeding our son.

  • It makes total sense that some nipples would be more comfortable to babies than others. Great idea to have a variety pack to cover that.

  • I like the fact that these bottles come with BPA free silicone nipples. I’ll keep these in mind for baby shower gifts.

  • I breast fed but worked so mine had to have bottles at daycare. It’s important to find the right one.

  • Trying to find the right nipple and flow was such a struggle for me coming out of the NICU with my oldest.

  • I’m pretty sure I used Playtex with my daughter.

  • Maybe if we had something like this, our daughter would have drunk from a bottle more. So nice that they take into consider that every child is different!

  • I’ll have to tell my friend about this, thanks!

  • There are so many bottle choices out there now compared to when I had my first.

  • My sister is expecting so I will share this with her. I know their are so many options it is nice to see what someone else thinks of it!

  • Great tips, I remember how I struggled with this.

  • I have always loved their bottles. 🙂

  • I only bottle fed our daughter and I used the Playtex bottles with the drop in liners. She had no issues taking the nipples we had, but it would have been nice to have had a greater varieties of styles to choose from had she refused the generic one.

  • I breastfed so my babies wouldn’t normally take a bottle. I wonder if it was because of an uncomfortable nipple on the bottle. I wish this was around when my children were babies.

  • I used to love the old school Playtex bottles with the drop in liners. Thankfully my children did well with the nipple options available since there were not nearly as many as there are now!

  • What a great idea! I can’t believe that no one had thought of that before.
