Colorful Holiday Travel and Gifts With Vera Bradley {Travel Set Giveaway} #VBWishlist

Vera Bradley came storming onto the scene thirty years ago with a new style that wasn’t really seen much in the practical, utilitarian world of luggage and handbags. Feminine and pretty was their idea, and needless to say, women everywhere agreed. Suddenly women just had to have a Vera Bradley anything, because it was so different and recognizable. Still popular today, and with more colors and styles than ever, let me introduce you to Vera Bradley’s new Winter colors, Canterberry Magenta, and Venetian Paisley:

If you are traveling this year, or are looking for a great gift idea, it’s pretty hard to miss with the thing that’s on most women’s wish lists, especially when they are this useful too. I was victim to the lack of options and traveled with hard blue plastic luggage for years, so I was very happy for the chance to review some of Vera Bradley’s beautiful travel pieces in the Canterberry Magenta color- very much my taste.

I have lots of cosmetics, and it was all tossed into a plastic bin on the counter of the bathroom, open, exposed to dust and curious toddlers, and cluttered. I organized everything into the Home and Away Cosmetic case, which features continuous pockets around the entire inner perimiter, a large center space for larger items, and a longer, zippered pocket in the lid for more storage. The Home and Away Cosmetic case zippers closed and has a handle to carry it. This looks so much prettier, keeps me more organized, and protects my cosmetics too. Love this!

I also love the Hanging Organizer, because this is one of those indispensable items for anyone who ever travels. It organizes everything, and up until now I had the standard dark blue nylon one (I didn’t even know there were prettier, more feminine options for hanging organizers). When I travel, I need this to organize my toiletries, jewelery, hosiery, etc…and now I have a beautiful one in a matching set. What a great gift idea!

This last weekend I had the opportunity to try everything out, because we went away for Veteran’s Day weekend, and I traveled in style with my new Travel Frame Bag in the beautiful Canterberry Magenta. It’s not only fashionable, it’s functional, with lots of room for three days worth of my family’s clothes (a family of two adults and two children), our Vera Bradley Home and Away Cosmetic Case, Hanging Organizer, my hair dryer, and some snacks. We pretty much have wrinkle free clothing, and I’m a fan of the rolling method of packing clothes for travel (so nothing could become wrinkled anyway), so it’s an understatement to say that with all that, there was still a lot of room left in the Travel Frame Bag.

I wore my usual travel outfit, a comfortable dress, and because my travel set was so pretty, I decided to pair my outfit with my favorite Mary Jane pumps. The new Canterberry Magenta color goes perfectly with my typical autumn/winter wardrobe colors (lots of black, navy, white, magenta, and chocolate brown) and suits me just right.
