Creating Pretty Holiday Packages

I just finished a slew of Christmas shopping, and have been wrapping up gifts to give and presents to ship. I usually use whatever packaging material I can find, because I honestly thought there weren’t many options. I recently learned about EZ Start Printed Packaging Tape from Duck Brand®, which lets me pretty up any packages I’m mailing, and reinforce and decorate present under our own tree at home too.

I used some really festive EZ Start® Printed Packaging Tape to decorate some of our gifts beyond the typical wrapping paper, and by taping along the edges with the wide packaging tape, it prevents any peeking by sneaky, impatient people. Some gifts were taped to look like they were wrapped in ribbon, and others were styled to look like a frame edge with a space in the middle for greetings and notes.

Because Duck Brand® Tape has adhesive on one side, I was able to make bows without needing any other tape or staples, and they were so easy!

Bow style #1: I folded the tape over sideways to make ribbons to fashion the bow loops, and used the two styles of holiday printed packaging tape (Peppermint and Ornaments) to intermix the loops. I used a pen to fluff the loopholes open a bit.

Bow style #2 I pinched the centers of three inch long strips of EZ Start® Printed Packaging Tape (3 mini folds/pinches each in the very center of each bow), and pressed the exposed adhesive back onto the package to hold it in place.

EZ Start® Printed Packaging Tape comes in a variety of styles, from holiday inspired to everyday, and my favorite for wrapping up our Christmas presents and mailing packages was definitely the green and red Peppermint covered pattern- so cute! The pretty Daisy pattern would work year round so I liked its versatility. Duck Brand® Tape is very strong so it was perfect to secure any packages I’m mailing at our local post office without resorting to my old brown packaging tape.
