It was only this last year that I discovered cookie butter, a creamy, delicious, unbelievably incredible butter made from cookie ingredients. It tastes as good as it sounds – I mean cookie butter? Are you serious?? Heaven! Well…almost, but not quite, because the ingredients of these cookies weren’t so heavenly. Lots of those ingredients with hard to pronounce names that mean artificial and preservatives. I try to only give my family what I feel is very healthy, so after that first divine jar of cookie butter, I decided there was not to be a second.
Then I discovered Biscoff Spread, and suddenly, cookie butter was part of our lives again. Biscoff Spread is made in Belgium with all natural ingredients, and it’s preservative free, cholesteral free, nut free and vegan too. Woohoo!
And it tastes even better than I remembered (probably because it’s made from Biscoff cookies). I created a Biscoff Spread The Love Pinterest board sharing a bunch of recipes I found that can be made with Biscoff Spread- recipes like Biscoff rice krispie treats, and no bake Biscoff granola bars. We ourselves made treats that our kids could help with, such as Biscoff Fun Bites (Biscoff rolled in our favorite all natural cereals):

and of course, on bread, apples, pretzels, mixed into our ice cream, and straight out of the jar with a spoon. There is a creamy and a crunchy version, and both are fabulous (the crunchy is filled with crumbled Biscoff cookies:
