This year I shopped at Bed Bath & Beyond to prepare for my holiday, starting with the perfect Christmas tree. I bought a prelit, real-looking 6 foot fir tree that graces our living room, making it super cozy. It was so easy to put up and it bathes the room with a magical glow. You can learn more about artificial trees on the Bed Bath & Beyond holiday planning site to find the right one for you, as well as more decorating ideas (I have the entire rest of the house to get to this week!).

The Holiday Entertaining and recipe section feautures incredible food and beverage ideas and help to make sure your parties a success. Shy guests? Planning a buffet? Inviting children? Help is here! I am utterly craving the Rustic Apple Tart Recipe, and the Rosemary Garlic Pull Apart Bread Recipe looks like it would be a total winner at a family dinner buffet…and the Mocha Eggnog…and…well, you get the idea. Check out more Holiday Recipes here!

Last but not least, find something for everyone on your list with gift ideas (including tips on what not to get- pretty funny!)…I think I want one of these, cherry colored Kitchenaid Stand Mixer!

  • That tree is beautiful. OUrs is on it’s last branch!!! I hadn’t thought of BBB!! Thanks!

  • I’ve been loving this site. So many great tips.

  • That tree looks great for artificial! I’m partial to my 8 foot frasier firs:) Treats: Cookies! Tips: Stay relaxed with your loved ones!

  • I haven’t been to Bed Bath & Beyond this season yet. I need to go check it out.

  • Lovely tree! No Christmas trees here this year since my toddler would have one down (along with the ornaments) on the floor within seconds. She’s at that stage now where she wants to get into everything. ~lol~

I was going to get a cherry color KitchenAid stand mixer to match the theme of my kitchen, but it was priced wrong at Sears (they are supposed to honor those regardless). However, I settled for a silver one.

  • I won’t go any other way then a pre-lit tree and I have a cherry red mixer and totally love it, reminds me of baking with my grandma.
