It’s A Dinosaur. It’s a Car. It’s VTech.

This post brought to you by VTechKids. All opinions are 100% mine.

My son is at an age where his imagination is the basis for his playing, so he talks on an imaginary phone, has his action figures interact in imaginary adventures, and moves his toy animals around while growling for them. Watching him engage his toys and have them interact is so much fun for me as a mom (maybe as much fun as it is for him to do this).

His favorite toys are his cars and dinosaurs, so recently discovering VTech’s latest electronic learning toys, Switch & Go Dinos, was fabulous fun for him, because Switch & Go Dinos are dinosaurs that growl and turn into vehicles that vroom (the fact that they are educational is a bonus for me, because I prefer to get my son toys that teach). Switch & Go Dinos feature an LCD screen that toggles between allowing you to pick a driver when it’s a race car, or animated eyes when it’s a dinosaur, and buttons allow you to control volume or activate sounds, navigate through options, or (best of all) share dozens of trivia facts about the dinosaur itself.

Sliver, The T-Rex Dino is a green and silver Tyrannosaurus Rex that converts into a sleek sports car, and the design is accurate…T-Rex features little arms, strong hind legs, a strong jaw and a pointy tail. Horns, The Triceratops Dino, is a blue Triceratops with horns, claws, and head shield, and converts into a speedy little race car.

Each Switch & Go Dino features an interactive LCD screen, where you pick the driver for your vehicle, as well as buttons to activate sound effects, when he is in his vehicle form, and when your Switch & Go Dino morphs into a dinosaur, he offers fun information about dinosaurs to teach your children in between growls. There are four Dinos total that will be available starting May 21st for your kids to play with this spring: Sliver the T-Rex, T-Don the Pteranodon, Tonn the Stegosaurus and Horns the Triceratops (Buy today on Amazon and soon VTechKids.com)

My son loves playing with his Dinos, and because it’s easy to switch between the vehicle form and the dinosaur, he doesn’t become frustrated. Instead, I’ve watched him play for hours, incorporating his new toys into his imaginary world, zooming the cars around the room and stomping his dinosaurs around. Seriously cute.
