Homemaking is fun for me, because I love to organize and clean up inside the home. Outside housekeeping…not so much. Cleaning the dirt from the outdoors on patio furniture and fences, oil stains in the driveway, weather beaten canopies, and a crusty grill just doesn’t thrill me the way the challenge of an indoor home project does. Still, it needs to be done, and I welcome anything that would make the job easier and quicker.
My main outside the home cleaning challenge every year is our overused barbecue grill that has been stored in the garage during the cold months, collecting a layer of grime that becomes caked on. We barbecue a great deal during the summer months for our family get togethers and even in between uses, the barbecue grill becomes quite yucky.
I’m being challenged to switch out my traditional way of cleaning big outdoor projects for Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, which I have to admit never crossed my mind to use. Not sure why, since it’s awesome at all my indoor cleaning projects, but there you have it, a new idea is born. Stay tuned for the results of our barcecue grill cleaning challenge!
