Looking for a fun way to share the fairytales you grew up with to your children? Max and Ruby BunnyTales (from Nickelodeon) features twelve episodes starring Max and Ruby (favorites for us) in classic fairytales as well as fun antics. Max is little brother, a precocious three year old who is guided by big sis Ruby, a smart and creative 7 year old.
In BunnyTales, favorite fairy tales are retold bunny-style, including The Princess and the Marbles, Emperor Max’s New Suit, and Max and the Three Little Bunnies. Each tale is told with a twist, following along the themes of the original. Max helps keep everyone on their toes in other episodes by constantly saving the day when it seems he’s just creating a disaster for Ruby and her friends.
We love this show. Sibling love amidst sibling annoyance and a doting grandma makes for fun viewing, and I love how, despite how annoying Max seems, he always manages to help out and make things right. It’s family friendly and teaches lessons too, in a way that is light and sweet. This dvd runs for over 1 1/2 hours and releases tomorrow!

My son absolutely loves Max & Ruby. He started Kindergarten in September and I kid you not he has checked each of the Rosemary Wells books out of the school library at least 4 times *each*. He would just LOVE to have his very own Max & Ruby DVD. Thanks so much for a chance.
