If you’re a To Do list kind of gal like me, if you live by planners, or if you just want to be a more organized person, then you know the importance of a good planner and calendar. I generally have a planner that I carry around in my purse, a wall calendar, and a pad where I write a detailed list of that day’s things To Do. I recently had the chance to review a terrific all-in-one wall organizer for moms/family from Andrews McMeel Publishing:
Mary Engelbreit Moms Can Do Anything: 2011 Weekly Wall Calendar/Organizer is divided into 12 monthly pages and 54 weekly pages. It contains a reversible pocket, lots of space to write in notes (more than a typical wall calendar), and multiple columns for each member of the family. It’s a family wall calendar that organizes the schedule of everyone in the family in one place, so parents and kids always know where everyone is at a glance. It’s attractive and colorful and you’ll find weekly inspirational quotes or humorous tips for mom such as “A loving heart is the truest wisdom” and “Cherish all your happy moments, they make a great cushion for old age”. There is also a column for special events, birthdays, etc so the Moms Can Do Anything Organizer really keeps it all together for you, in great mom style, and it’s available on Amazon for less than $11.
Another 2011 calendar from Andrews McMeel is the Rachael Hale Baby Love: 2011 Wall Calendar, a cute wall calendar of adorable babies, very sweet (Anne Geddes fans will love this). Each month features a little cutie in a whimsical fashion.

I have one of those Mary Engelbreit Calendars for 2010 and it's great. It makes organizing activities a breeze for families. We usually purchase calendars for Christmas Gifts so I guess I should start looking at them now!
