Lately I haven’t been writing much about my family, and I should because I’ve been blessed when it comes to my good husband and sweet son (it doesn’t hurt that I made a good choice when I chose my man, and didn’t rush to get married). My husband is my hero and I think he sometimes feels neglected by my blogging. In his honor, I decided to write a list of ten things (quick!) that pop into my head about why I love him and why he’s totally my hero:
A Good Husband aka Why I Love My Man
1. My husband happily changes little man’s dirty diapers (almost every single one)
2. He’d rather be home with us than anywhere else
3. He lets me listen to what I like on the radio when we are in the car together
4. He changed his life and career plans when we got married to make our family life easier
5. He is observant (he converted to my religion and comes to church with me every Sunday)
6. He is idealistic, and has high values
7. He has a sweet innocence about certain things, and it makes him more appreciative and positive
8. He’s super street smart (unlike me, I’m a bit naive and it worries him, lol, but it’s good that he is street smark, because he’s a cop, and takes care of me)
9. He works overtime so I can stay home with little man
10. He has big muscles (not required for a good husband but I like it!)
Sometimes, I just want to take a break from regular stuff and think about my blessings 🙂
You are truly blessed as I am sure you know. I love your list and count myself lucky to have my man too.
You are right, I count my blessings all the time 🙂 A healthy family, two great men (a big one and a little one)- my cavemen, lol.
