Halloween Party Ideas For A Spooky Soirée

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ellio’s Pizza. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s a spooky time of year, when many mini-ghouls are trick-or-treating and many adults are having their at-home costume parties late into the night. Scary fun happens after dusk just once a year, and we love to celebrate with our friends.

The food is an important part of the Halloween party, and you pretty much only need three things to keep guests happy- pizza, candy and soda. Since the rest of us get to have fun in costume, we thought the Ellio’s Pizza should join in the fun and dress up spooky too! So I let the kids have at it, and they created some perfect Halloween pizza (Tip: These are created with baker’s candy eyes and cupcake topper spider leg toothpicks):

You can choose any kind of Ellio’s pizza for a haunted hit, but the pepperoni pizzas are perfect when you want something that looks like pumpkins. With a gourmet edible marker, we decorated our pepperoni to look like terrifying pumpkins, and in addition to it being a fun way for the kids to get creative with their creepy selves, it really dressed up the party snacks! (Tip: Dab the pepperonis with a napkin before drawing to take some of the natural moisture away):

Ellio’s Products have been around for over 5 decades and originated right here on Long Island where we live, so they are a welcome guest at all our family parties. They are value-priced and cook up in 10-14 minutes (depending on your appetite for gooey-cheesy vs crispy-crunchy), so you can make batch after batch and keep all the wizards and monsters in your home happy until the witching hour. Find Ellio’s with the Ellio’s Pizza Store Locator and connect with them on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr for special offers, recipes and great ideas!
