Family Game Night

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ellio’s Pizza. All opinions are 100% mine.

Growing up, I loved Family Game Night. I have a collection of board games now for my own family, because some of my most fun memories ever are of staying up late into the night with cousins or siblings or friends, playing a looong running game while we all nosh and have a great time.

It turns out, my boys love board games too…yay!

I have a collection set up on our fireplace mantle, stacked up and tempting, ready to play. One day a week I’ll let my kids pick out which game they would love to play, and we set it out on our table to settle in for a fun evening.

I bought a coffee table specifically designed for board games (I kid you not), because I love Family Game Night so much. It has two pull-out benches with lift-up seats to store games, and two drawers in the table itself to hold score cards and game pieces and pencils, and the coffee/game table is long and rectangular, perfect to lay out a board game, room for everyone to sit around, and room on each end for the snacks!

And of course, the best snack ever is pizza. Because everyone loves pizza. And Ellio’s Pizza is the pizza I grew up with, baked crispy in the oven, and oh so delicious! And now my sons play board games late into the night, eat Ellio’s Pizza, and make memories, just like I did.

My youngest son is ambitious…he refused to let us cut his slice of Ellio’s cheese pizza into thirds, he wanted to devour the whole thing in one piece.

Ellio’s frozen pizza is made with real ingredients like 100% real cheese, and still value-priced, just like when we were growing up. When the gaming mood strikes us, it’s ready in 10 minutes flat for us to enjoy while we play.

Scrabble has always been my favorite game. My mother started playing with me when I was about 10 or 11. We played every week. Sometimes, days in a row. I sure do miss that.
