Not Everyone Can Escape The Horrors Of The Bathroom #HelpMeForget

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quilted Northern. All opinions are 100% mine.

We use the bathroom, we leave the bathroom. We don’t really think about it much, or remember anything about bathroom visits…they aren’t exactly very memorable, or at least we hope not. But that isn’t the case for us all. Our bath toys don’t have that same luxury of just forgetting, because they are subjugated to stay in our bathroom even when we occupy it, unable to escape, witnessing everything that happens.

I never realized just how hard my son’s bath toy boat really had it…but now, I get it.

The makers of Quilted Northern® know that the best bathroom experiences are the ones you CAN forget, so they’ve spent over a hundred years innovating bathroom tissue, including removing splinters from the papermaking process to creating the first luxury 3-ply bath tissue (thank goodness, because that sounded painful). Even though they put a lot of thought into making amazing toilet paper, it’s obviously not something we talk much about, and Quilted Northern celebrates that their bath tissue gives us a great and forgettable experience. It’s Designed to be forgotten™ by us, but the objects in our bathroom? They don’t get off so easy.

Quilted Northern launched #HelpMeForget, a series highlighting the unfortunate predicament of these objects, being forced to reside in our bathrooms and witness it all…whether it’s the teddy bears on the wall paper, or the rubber ducky in the tub, they can’t escape, or forget. Academy Award nominee Bennett Miller documents the horrors they have to endure daily in a YouTube series he directs. Here, they share their stories from the front lines, all of them trapped in a fate they can’t escape:

This is hilarious! You know, I’ve never thought about it before but I’m sure my kiddo’s bathtub toys get an eye full EVERY single day!

  • Beth

Too cute. Never thought about all they endure.

  • Theresa

Well, I guess I never gave that rubber ducky any thought before. Now, I kind of feel bad for all he’s had to witness lol.

  • They would be traumatized for life if they were in our bathroom. I know, because there is a huge mirror on the wall opposite the toilet. I wish there was some way to cover it up or take it down.

These little tug boats remind me of when I was younger. I can’t imagine what they’ve seen over the years.

  • Penelope

Oh my, what a place to put a mirror! Lol!

Potty training was an adventure for us!

I’ll never look at tub toys in the same way again! If our toys could talk…..I am sure they would really just complain about the dogs a lot 😉
