Home appliances are something I have a bit of a fascination with. It started when I bought my condo and basically rebuilt it from the ground up, all to my taste. I had a great time picking out paints, fixtures, and appliances for my new apartment, and a love for renovating was born.
Well, I’m moving again, so have had the happy pleasure of shopping for appliances in preparation for the next wave of renovations in our new home. Is it weird that I love to look at ranges, check out colors that appliances come in, and read the features of washers and dryers lining the show room of stores?
(don’t answer that)
I’m pretty thrilled to have the opportunity to try out the Maytag Bravos XL washer and dryer. As a Maytag Mom Brand Ambassador, I will be reviewing this washer and dryer set and sharing my honest thoughts for the next four months. I had and was very happy with my Maytag oven, where I first learned to cook and bake when I moved out on my own, so I have high hopes.
The home we are expecting to buy has an old washer and dryer set that I have no desire to use, and my condo provided community use washers and dryers (who wants to share?), so the Maytag Bravos XL set will be my first actual personal use set (aside from my mom’s, and I think she’s tired of me coming over to do our laundry).
So because I’ll be doing my own laundry, in my own machines, in my own home, I’m actually looking forward to doing laundry.
(did you ever think you’d hear someone say that?)
