Are you one of the thousands of people who resolved to be more organized in 2011? Are you finding the toys in your kids playroom to be a storage problem? Well, here’s something that will get your 2011 decluttering resolution off to a rockin’ start: Zip Bins toyboxes are portable storage bins that convert into play areas and offer 2-in-1 storage solutions! I reviewed a ZipBin in the past, and recently had the chance to work with Neat-Oh again in honor of Get Organized month (that’s every January, folks- the month most people promise to get more organized).

One of the messiest areas in most homes is the play area, with toys and books strewn everywhere. ZipBins provide portable storage solutions for kid toy products and book that are really useful, colorful, and fun. Zip Bins fold flat for storage, open up to become a toybox or toychest, and open up further to become a portable play area. Many Zip Bins also come with small toys that fit the theme of the storage container.

When your child is not playing on the Zip Bin, they can zip up the corners to turn it into a house storage container that stores all the toys they were just playing with. This is a great organization idea for busy moms!

The lid of the storage toybox fastens on with velcro, and handle straps make it portable, so you can store it around the house or bring it along on playdates. ZipBin containers are stackable, so you can have one for each child, or specific toys, and stack them up vertically and out of the way when it’s time to clean up.

Busy moms will have a much easier time cleaning up when you can just toss all the toys into the ZipBins, close them up and put them away. The walls of the toy chests are structured but not rigid, so your child won’t get hurt if they fall over one. We also love the graphics on the Dinosaur Zip Bin.
Some of the toys are not for smaller children and some of the ZipBins come with crate handles instead of straps. There are many to choose from (girls will probably love the Barbie or Unicorn ZipBins) and a great organizational tool to help you start to teach your child about cleaning up and organizing.
