Since 1962, Waterpik has been a leader in bringing customers high-quality personal and oral health care products. They offer terrific proucts for oral health, such as their water jets (I reviewed their WP-100 Ultra Dental Water Jet in the past), as well as many other innovative items that have given them their long-standing reputation for quality and customer satisfation. I have recently had the opportunity to review one of their great handheld showerheads as well. I was sent a Waterpik EcoFlow showerhead in chrome to review. In addition to offering a bit of luxury in the shower, I chose this economical handheld showerhead in order to help cut our water bill costs.
The Waterpik Ecoflow showerhead features five spray settings, and has a water-saving feature to help cut costs and water waste. This eco-friendly option saves one gallon of water a minute (this can save households of four almost $100 a year on their waterbill). There is also a fingertip pause control on the handle to use when washing hair or shaving, to conveniently stop the water and make the showerhead even more efficient.

The five spray settings you can choose from include a concentrated fan spray, a circular massage (with or without mist), a misting option, a regular full shower stream for full body coverage. We love this showerhead. After my husband installed it, I had fun trying out the different settings. Even though I chose it with the intention of being economical, the truth is I prefer a stronger flow, so I was very happy to discover it has a switch on it that allows you to turn the EcoFlow option on and off. I generally use the full body coverage setting to wash my hair, but I love the circular massage option as well, to massage my back before I leave the shower.
I also love that it can be placed on its holder to use as a traditional showerhead, or taken off its base and use as a handheld showerhead. Before this Water Pik showerhead we had a simple, matches-the-other-fixtures showerhead that did not have any variety in flow or stream, was fixed to the wall in one position, and was a little weak. I feel like I have a mini-spa in my shower now, and for less than $50, it is a worthwhile investment.
