Silent gratitude is not much use to anyone. ~G.B. Stern The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you. ~John E. Southard If a fellow isn’t thankful for what he’s got, he isn’t likely to be thankful for what he’s going to get. ~Frank A. Clark We […]

The holidays are filled with festivities and excitement, and often a whirlwind of parties as well. Christmas weddings and winter celebrations tend to be magical, with green and red colors on display amidst beautiful holly and snow. The social aspect of the season makes me look forward to it as one of my favorite times […]

I LOVE the one of you from behind walking down the hall holding little man’s hand and reaching out for your niece – so sweet! Your choice is beautiful, definitely a versatile dress. What a great selection they have there! I never would have looked there for maternity wear formal dresses.
-
The dress you chose looks GREAT and I LOVE your baby belly <3
-
Look at how pretty you look, those are great pictures and a beautiful dress! Nice Review 🙂

I love your little bedazzled belly! So cute! You look lovely and little man looks quite proud of his pretty mom.

Thanksgiving is a day most people spend with family and friends, but what if you have no loved ones close by this year? There is no reason to celebrate all by yourself, yet many people out there do spend Thanksgiving Day alone. Whatever the reason you find yourself facing the holidays alone this year, here […]
-
Fortunately, I’ve never spent a Thanksgiving alone, but I’d probably opt for the staying at home and spending it on social media sites. 🙂 Some good ideas here, though.
-
We’ve always gotten together with friends when we don’t have family nearby. Even this year when we do have family nearby, we’re inviting single friends to come over to spend the day with us.
-
Great post, the episode of Friends was and is such a classic, I still love to watch it. Visiting a nursing home is a great thing to do! Volunteer! 🙂
-
If it weren’t for the fact that I so enjoy the leftovers, I would absolutely be hitting up Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving.
I also love the idea of volunteering.
However, I’ll be cooking and eating and watching holiday movies all day long!
-
We spend a quiet Thanksgiving at home together as a family but I still miss the big get togethers.
-
love this! no one should ever spend Thanksgiving or Christmas alone!
-
Being married, we’ve always had Thanksgiving with extended family because thats how my husband grew up. Growing up for me it was always just our little family. These are such great ideas especially the volunteering one. I’ve always wanted to do that but its hard with lots of family . I’ve considered trying to do it maybe the day before or the day after when things aren’t quite so crazy.
-
Great ideas for not having to spend the holidays alone!
-
I love being around family for the holidays. I wish I lived closer to mine.
-
First of all, I miss the show “Friends.”
Second, I second the idea of inviting non-family members who are without family. Since my sisters and I live out of state from my parents, my mom invites elderly singles from our church to eat with her and my dad. They all have an amazing day!
-
I had to spend Christmas alone once… it was NOT pretty.
-
wonderful tips its so important for people not to be alone and to be surrounded by others
-
We will be spending Thanksgiving with family.
-
I’ll be home. Alone.
-
I agree, there are many place to go so you don’t have to be alone. Thankfully I have lots of family.
-
OMG, now that is hilarious!! Two pretty girls then two old men, HA!!!!
-
That is hilarious!
-
Too funny!
-
Cracked me up!
-
I seriously just died laughing! Love pranks like these “Candid Camera” type

Love it!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zenni Optical for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. It wasn’t until I became a mom that I started to wear eyeglasses, and now I find them indispensable…how did I get by without them for so long? I thought it was vanity that prevented […]
-
I like the ones you picked out!! Great choice 🙂
-
I love those frames.
I don’t have to wear glasses yet, but if I ever have to I’d probably choose something similar to what you posted.
-
Love them.
I’ve been using this company for a while now.
A third cheaper than what they would normally cost in retail stores.
Which is great since I need three pairs!!!!!
mwah -
I love the green and the shape of the glasses. I just saw some cute ones at Target.
-
Cute glasses! I had LASIK so don’t wear them anymore but sometimes I wish I did because the frames have gotten so much cuter. I guess I still have sunglasses.
-
Problem is with “discount” eyeglasses, is they come from China. You have to wait WEEKS to get them and the quality is usually sub-par.
All these $6.00 eyeglasses companies are not as good as they claim.
Buyer beware!

I love the last one!
wonderful quotes thanks so much for sharing
These are so touching, and so true! I especially love the Charles Dickens quote! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
That is very true, you have to be happy with what you have!
Are you getting my comments?
I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for so much in my life, and stopping to remember what you are thankful for and why helps you to appreciate it even more
Great quotes!
