Easy Baked Cinnamon Apple Cobbler Recipe + A Giveaway

A healthier diet usually consists of more fruit, and fruit is naturally tasty so most people would be happy to eat more. Most people don’t want to have to wash and peel every fruit they eat, though, so pretty often just a little fruit is eaten daily by far too many people- if they eat any at all. An easier way to add more vitamin-rich, delicious fruits into our diets would be terrific, and DOLE Fruit n’ Spice is a great way to do it.

DOLE Fruit n’ Spice are packaged fruit made with all natural, real frozen fruit combined into chef-inspired spice blends that are tasty and healthy as is or mixed into a recipe. Think super easy morning smoothies, chopped up over ice cream or hot pie, etc. The flavor combinations include Honey Lime Pineapple Chunks, Cinnamon Apple Slices, and Chili Lime Mango Chunks, so not only is it easier than ever to add more fruit to your daily meals and snacks, but it’s more flavorful.

Fruit is delicious. Combinations of the most delectable fruit mixed with yummy spices is scrumptious… and will make you look forward to eating lots more fruit.

How we enjoy our DOLE Fruit n’ Spice

1. With friends. We pour a package full of Chili Lime Mango Chunks into a bowl, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, and hand out forks. We munch while we chat and play Cards Against Humanity or Pictionary (because I will always love board games and group games). FYI the chili makes these spicy!

2. While watching tv. The Honey Lime Pineapple Chunks taste amazing over a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream. The sweetness of the honey and the pineapples really enhance it, and it’s ready so quickly.

3. After dinner, for an amazing dessert. I found the Cinnamon Apple Slices are ideal for the filling in a quick baked cobbler, so I sometimes make this evenings we are in the mood for a tasty dessert. Here is my super simple recipe:

Easy Baked Cinnamon Apple Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients
1 package DOLE Fruit n’ Spice Cinnamon Apple Slices
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 package premade pie crusts

Cinnamon Apple Cobbler Recipe 3 ingredients only

Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350º F
2 Place apple slices in a bowl with brown sugar and stir together until sugar melts and covers apples
3 Place apple mix into 4 separate cocottes (fill to top).
4 Take pie crust and cut out four circles to fit tops of cocottes
5 Place the circle crusts on top of each filled cocotte. Vent with fork or cookie cutter.
6 Bake for 30 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
7 Serve and enjoy!

The brown sugar makes it a bit more syrupy and moist, and while the chili on the apple spices adds some bite, it becomes a bit milder in the dessert when combined with the brown sugar and sweet crust.
