Because He Should Be Comfy Too

This is my little man:

future president

When we drive places and little man is sitting in his car seat, he often falls asleep. His head would flop over because we didn’t have a baby sleep pillow in the car seat to support his head while he napped:

Sometimes while napping his neck would bend at weird angles that scared me, so I’d pull over just to readjust him while he’s sleeping. Now he has a really cute giraffe baby head support pillow to rest his sweet little head on while he sleeps during our drives, so I don’t have to keep stopping:

These baby head rests are from the Aurora “Are We There Yet?” collection, and in addition to the giraffe above, there is also a monkey to keep tots and babies comfy while sitting, and a collection of critter name tags to keep important info on your tots in case they get lost (one of those things you hope you never need but need to use just in case):

Lay your baby's sleeping head on these

Why are double chins and animals always so cute on babies? Aurora also creates the adorable dreamy eyes plush animals we shared in the past- everything they make is just so darned cute.

The giraffe in the photo above was sent to little man for his review, but all opinions are 100% our own.

Wish they would have had these when Sweetums was a baby. I had to roll two little blankets and place them on either side of her head. Too many times I had to pull off the road because her head would be in a position where Sweetums wasn’t breathing well. Seeing baby’s face turn blue in the rear view mirror is not good.

  • Penelope

Oh my goodness, I would think not! His head rolled over twice where I couldn’t believe he’d be able to breath. I’m so grateful for those mirrors that let you see your child while driving, even when they are rear facing. Poor Sweetums!

  • Cute. It use to scare me when their heads flopped. Zoe’s still does this when sleeping in the car, so I’m always fixing it.

  • That is so much better, and so cute too! It really does make for a much more restful nap!

  • Kelly

That giraffe is adorable (and so is your son)! My daughter’s head does that too but she would never leave it in place long enough for her head to be supported – she’d have it in her lap playing.

Awwww, what a cutie! And, the giraffe is utterly adorable.

  • Anne - Mommy Has to Work

very good idea! What cutie he is!

  • Oh my goodness, I want to pinch his little cheeks 😉

  • JulieD

How cute and what a clever idea. I love the giraffe and the monkey!

  • Lisa @ Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy

    they are so cute

  • those are adorable! I’ll have to look into one of those before our 12 hour drive to Minnesota in 2 months!

  • I need to get one of those! My 4 year old falls asleep in the car and her seat doesn’t give her any place to really put her head. It ends up just flopping forward.

  • Tammy

We have one of these too – I even used it on our last car trip to keep my neck from getting a kink in it! I love how soft it is.

  • Annie @ Mama Dweeb

He has the most DARLING eyelashes!! Oh my word 🙂

I know my daughter would love one of these. I had no idea they even made cute ones in animal shapes! Thanks!
