Cold Weather Blues + Real Relief

This post brought to you by Chloraseptic®. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Penelope’s Oasis.

As a mom, nothing is worse than seeing my kids feel bad when they are sick, and I’d do anything to take their pain away. If they are feeling poorly and snuggle up to me, I want to provide them with something that makes them feel better, and as quickly as possible. I grew up using Chloraseptic® sore throat spray and lozenges, and today Chloraseptic® is still helping people with sore throats feel better, fast, and with more flavor options for picky kids. They are indicated for both adults and children 6+ (with supervision), and some formulations for children as young as 3, like these (Chloraseptic® Sore Throat Spray and Chloraseptic® Max targeted spray):

Chloraseptic® is the #1 Pharmacist Recommended Sore Throat Relief brand (Lozenges tied for #1), and a big part of the reason is because it acts fast. No one wants to suffer, and we especially don’t want our children hurting, so many parents reach for it, and the fact that it can be administered every two hours for continuous relief is even better. Chloraseptic® features a variety of products based on different symptoms, such as Chloraseptic® Total for sore throats and cough (cools nasal passages too), and with so many flavors- Cherry, Max Wild Berry, Warming Honey Lemon, and Grape spray- there is something for every kid.

This time of year, particularly in wintery New York (we had a low this week of 9ª F!), children are going to get sick. Be ready to make them feel better!

Chloraseptic® lozenges are great for on-the-go relief, with a soothing liquid cool center, for family members that are six and older, so you don’t have to wait to get home to easy a sore throat (or turn around to head home on a road trip). The lozenges make family easier, possible, and Chloraseptic® Max with a target sprayer can be used in younger children, like my three year old, with a targeted spray and coating protection, so everyone in your family 3+ can get back to regular life when sore throat season arrives. It works on contact, so my kids can get back to playing and having fun, like they should.

(and personally, I like the Honey Lemon spray!)

Yes, we always have Chloraseptic spray in our medicine cabinet. I love that stuff. Works wonders.

I remember using this when I was little, it always worked like a charm. Luckily this year my kids have not gotten really sick just small colds here and there.

  • I’ve used the chloreseptic spray before…it does work. I also like using a good lemon and honey tea to help sooth the throat.

  • When I worked in a call center I got sore throats often. I just about lived on Chloraseptic lozenges!

We just went through a rounds of sore throats during the holidays. The only thing that seems to help and that the kids will use is the cherry Chloraseptic spray.
