This weekend is PetSmart Charities’ National Adoption Weekend, when anyone who’s been considering adding a furry new member to their family can have all their questions about pet adoption answered, as well as help during the adoption process. From November 13-15th participating PetSmart stores will host animal welfare organizations, including local humane societies, who will bring adoptable dogs and cats to participating PetSmart stores.
You can find out about event times at each store and about specific pets by calling your local PetSmart store (find PetSmart Charities adoption centers here: https://www.petsmartcharities.org/campaigns/national-adoption-weekend). Some adoption fees may apply to cover spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and sometimes microchips, and you will find out about any additional requirements or information from the specific organization as well. It’s a great time to finally bring home your new furbaby to love!
