Grilled Lemon Chicken With Capers + Buttery Garlic Bread

Summer days are for enjoying at leisure, and preparing quick and easy snacks on movie nights or while entertaining in the backyard makes it even more fun (particularly for the hostess, who’d rather sit with her family and friends than spend an hour in the kitchen).

Pepperidge Farm® Microwavable Breads makes it convenient to create easy meals that are delicious. Today I’m sharing my favorite chicken recipe, Grilled Lemon Chicken with Capers, and pairing it with a buttery garlic bread was just the right thing…it didn’t need anything else for a perfect meal.

Grilled Lemon Chicken With Capers + Buttery Garlic Bread

Ingredients
1 lb thin sliced chicken breast
Pepperidge Farm® Microwavable Bread in Garlic
1/2 cup white wine
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp capers
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1. Season and grill chicken on stove top for about 3 minutes on each side.
2. While chicken is grilling, bake Pepperidge Farm® Microwavable Bread in microwave for four minutes.
3. Mix white wine, olive oil, lemon juice, and capers together in a small bowl and pour over chicken in pan. Grill for one extra minute.
4. Serve garlic bread and chicken together for a quick, amazingly delicious dinner ready in under ten minutes

It’s really good, and your guests (and family) will think you are the perfect hostess (and mom). The food is tasty and pairs together well, and the smell of freshly baking bread that accompanies Pepperidge Farm® Microwavable Bread while they are baking is heavenly…my favorite smell in the world!

Pepperidge Farm® Microwavable Breads is available in both Garlic and Mozzarella, and can be ready in four minutes from your microwave, and eight minute from your oven, whenever you need to whip up a quick snack or last minute meal. No worries about surprise guests…let them pop over! Now you can have a great meal for everyone quickly, and not feel like you are missing out on any of the fun.
