Family Movie Night with AWAY & BACK

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hallmark Hall of Fame. All opinions are 100% mine.

Family movie night is a treat for most families, and it’s something we are starting to enjoy also. I really love cuddling with my family and watching a great movie, and this Sunday, January 25th, we are planning to watch the latest Hallmark Hall of Fame film AWAY & BACK starring Jason Lee and Minka Kelly on the Hallmark Channel at 8pm est (that’s 7pm for all you central folks). It’s family friendly, moving and encouraging, a perfect choice for family movie night.

AWAY & BACK is about a family of swans that settles on the Peterson farm, and changes the lives of everyone as a result. There is romance, drama, humor, and adventure as well, and the fact that our heroine Frankie is a 10 year old girl who would appeal to my sons, who love to watch other kids in movies. Dad is Jason Lee, a widow who isn’t very impressed when a pushy ornithologist (played by Minka Kelly) swoops in to save the family of swans, and Frankie and her brothers watch as their friction turns into something else (that’s the part I’ll like- I love a good romance!).

If you are looking for a great way to spend some time together as a family having fun this Sunday, make it a movie night! A little adventure, a little romance, a little hijinx and kid fun…everyone will be entertained!

You can also enter the AWAY & BACK Sweepstakes. Simply watch the trailer here and share it to be entered to win a family vacation: AWAY & BACK Trailer – Share to Win Sweepstakes.

Hallmark Hall of Fame has presented original and inspiring films for more than 60 years, and I’m a huge fan of their wonderful legacy of quality entertainment. AWAY & BACK is directed by Jeff Bleckner, who also directed other Hallmark Hall of Fame fan favorites. Following the premiere, DVD sales of the movie will be available at hallmarkhalloffame.com (but it’s still more fun to watch it when it first premieres).

I love the fact that Hallmark movies are always appropriate to have on when children are around. My husband thinks they’re sappy but I usually like them 🙂 I like the feel good stuff better than huge explosions, lol!

This sounds like such a great movie. I love it when movie makers can focus on telling a story than using so many gimmicks of effects and swearing/innuendo.

I can’t wait to finally see this movie. It’s sounds like it’s going to be one of those great “love movies”.
