Designed To Be Forgotten

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quilted Northern for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

The best bathroom experiences are the least memorable, and that’s how it should be. Quilted Northern® wants to help make it as unmemorable as possible, so spent the last 100 years innovating in the art of bathroom tissue, from everything to removing splinters from the papermaking process (that alone deserves a humanitarian award) to creating the first luxury bath tissue featuring 3 layers. It all works together to create an experience that you never have to think about or talk about.

Quilted Northern is Designed to be forgotten™, but not everyone can make the same claim of their time in the bathroom. Just like my son’s poor tub boat, or the animals on the wallpaper, or the toothbrushes on their stands, our bath towel butterflies and dragonflies can’t escape their daily fate. They have a close up, front row seat of a show they’d rather not see. Their days are not filled with the spring meadows or the scents of the flowers embroidered around them, and you can’t help but pity them.

Quilted Northern launched a YouTube series of seriously funny TV spots directed by renowned Academy Award Nominee Bennett Miller that highlight these unfortunate objects that reside in our bathrooms, witnessing our visits daily. The three TV spots, “Daddy Gator,” “Little Miss Puffytail,” and “Great Grandpa Thaddeus”, plus three additional bonus spots, can all be seen on the Quilted Northern YouTube page, and they are worth taking a peek at. Check them out, have yourself a good laugh at their expense, and be thankful you can so easily forget!

Here is a favorite from the Designed to be Forgotten videos:

The series of commercials seem really funny, but now I am a bit creeped out about what items are unable to forget in our bathrooms!

  • Valerie

This is hilarious. I never thought about all the things in our bathroom that “witness” what happens in there!

  • Stefany

haha! I have a very small bathroom but we definitely have plenty of things that witness the bathroom activities. My poor shampoo! ha!

  • Toni

This is a really cute campaign. I think my Grandmother has some of those items in her bathroom. I will never look at them the same now.

  • Kristi

Fun commercials… but now I might be looking for “eyes” next time I am at someones house. Lol

  • Veronica

haha! I like these commercials. I will have to go look at the items in my bathroom

These commercials are so funny. I will have to take a look around my bathroom and see what is stuck in there.

Those poor objects and all they see. And to think, my kids and dogs follow me willingly into the bathroom. They are insane! lol

Ads are getting so creative these days! I never thought I’d see an oscar-nominated director making toilet paper commercials!
