Easy 10 Minute Tortellini + Cheesy Garlic Bread @PepperidgeFarm #MicrowaveTheFlavor

Summer nights are for movies and backyard get togethers, and that means friends, fun, and food! And sometimes those fun times are spur of the moment, spontaneous pop-overs, and we don’t mind (in fact, I love that!), so I just make sure our pantry and fridge are stocked with easy to make foods and snacks that are ready on demand.

Popping in a dvd to settle in for a movie night? Friends calling for a playdate or backyard picnic? Microwaveable garlic bread and dipping sauces will be out in a jiff…let the good times roll!

Since I menu plan, I often have ingredients ready to pop together for something quick, I can have one of my favorite dishes ready in less than 10 minutes:

cheesy garlic bread

The tortellini cooks in 7 minutes, Pepperidge Farm Microwavable Breads bakes in 8 minutes in the oven and even quicker in the microwave (4 minutes), and together, it’s a perfect dinner or midday meal. It’s also impressive to guests who don’t know how easy it was to throw together quickly at the last minute. Add some tomato with basil sauce to the pasta (a great dipping sauce for the Pepperidge Farm Microwavable Breads too) and it look like you already had an Italian dinner in the works when they called, or can pull together an amazing meal in literally minutes…hostess of the year!

Pepperidge Farm Microwavable Breads comes in both Garlic and Mozzarella, and while I find it extremely hard to pick a favorite, if I had to, I’d probably pick the Mozzarella because I love the zesty cheese and it’s just so good (but it’s really close, so I just keep both in my kitchen).

The taste is phenomenal, and the scent of freshly baking bread…well, there is nothing like it. It tastes and smells like homemade bread, the kind I grew up with, and since it can be ready in minutes from the microwave (it bakes right in the bag and is sized to fit in a microwave oven) my husband or kids can pop it in anytime they want…and they want to pretty often. When I’m not around and still enjoy a delicious snack while watching a movie together or playing.
