Summertime Fun & Travel #MomTrust @PlaytexBaby

We’ve been having one of the best summers, with activities every weekend, and daily days at the park. We’ve been to the aquarium, museums, jumped on trampolines, dined at great restaurants, and so much more. We made s’mores, created art on our sidewalks, and had tickle wars, and I’m grateful there is still plenty of summer left to enjoy before my oldest son starts “real” school (five already! how did that happen?? his fifth year of life already!)

June and July went by in a blur, and so far we….

and it’s been so much fun 🙂

As a mom, as long as I have little juice boxes and snack containers, and keep my schedule organized, I’m able to keep the fun going. If I don’t, uh oh…hungry and thirsty kidlets, or missed appointments and late starts. I’m not a born organized mom, so I depend on to do lists and reminder alarms on my phone for everything. Thank goodness for gadgets and technology!

We are planning a weekend trip later this month into Manhattan for a weekend of touring our favorite city in the world, and until then, it’s more picnics and pirate treasure hunts. I’m exhausted, but the good kind of exhausted 🙂 I love connecting with other parents and sharing stories and tips as well, or simply getting more ideas on how to safely have family fun. You can find out how other parents are doing, share tips and support and more at Playtex Baby Mom Trust on facebook!…I’m a contributor and will be sharing reviews and mommy moments, so come by, read, and share.

Now I just have to start organizing all those photos for the photo books…that will take me all autumn to do! How are you enjoying your summer? Any trips or summer fun with the family planned or happening already?

  • Looks like you guys are having a blast, that’s what summer is all about.

  • Have fun making all those memories this summer. This is the last one with our daughter before we drop her off at college in just 37 days (sob). We’ve been trying to do a lot of fun things together too, this week we’re going to a video game convention with her!

  • Your summer sounds full! I am enjoying reading about all of your adventures!

  • I’ve visited with both of my kids so far this summer, and I’m taking a trip with my daughter next month. You’ve been so busy, but it all looks fun!

  • Looks like such a fun and educational way to spend the day with the family.

  • Your family has had such an adventure this summer and made so many wonderful memories! I love seeing the pics and getting a peek into your family time!

  • It sounds like you have had a pretty enjoyable summer so far! I’ve been trying to enjoy it much as I can with my family, despite the heat. 🙂
