Less Spills, More Fun #MomTrust @PlaytexBaby

My younger son is two, and while he is quickly learning to do a lot for himself (and insists he always be allowed to try), he still doesn’t always fully grasp the concept that leaping onto the sofa while holding an open cup can spill his beverage everywhere. He’s still shocked and yells “Mama, look!” everytime it happens, signalling me to come in with paper towels to clean up the mess.

He isn’t ready for open cups yet. Unforunately, even many children’s beverage containers can be messy, so we wanted something spill-proof, and found it with Playtex’s Anytime Spill-Proof Spout Cups. They feature a twist’n click lid that prevents any fluids from leaking out, and Playtex has a full line so parents with younger and older children can have easier, less messy lives as well: the TrainingTime Sippy is children 4 months and older and comes with a removeable handle and a spout or straw, the Anytime Cup is for 9 months+ and comes with a straw, a spout, or spoutless, the Playtime Cup is for 12 months+ and the Traveltime Cup is for children two and older (looks like a tumbler and is suitable for older children who can handle drinks well usually, but maybe not through bumpy car rides).

For us, the Anytime Spout Cups from Playtex are perfect, they encourage my son to ask for something to drink more often (because he loves them, both the colors and the sleek, easy to hold design), and we want him hydrated during the summer, and drinking down vitamins and electrolytes often, so we are happy to give him a cup whenever he asks. I also love not accidentally slipping because he spilled some juice on the floor and didn’t realize it, or being called to the family room to find him pointing where he spilled milk all over the counch…I love that a LOT!

  • I’m glad these are working out for your younger son. It’s definitely important to keep them hydrated and it’s even better if they ask, therefore making your job easier.

  • This sounds like the perfect cup for Zeva. She’s also a two year old who doesn’t realize that she’s making a royal mess with her drinks.

  • These sound like really good, non-leaking sippycups! I think I might have to pick Kellan up some!

  • My kids had closed spill proof cups with lids until around four years old. We always used Playtex too. It was just easier to have peace of mind then constantly clean messes and change outfits.
