Spicy Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe

This post brought to you by Texas Pete. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you have favorite recipes? Me too, but sometimes I like to kick them up a notch with a bit of ingredient magic, mixing in something extra for a different flavor, and my last experimenting was with Texas Pete hot sauces…boy are they spicy!

Texas Pete offers a variety of products, and they make great condiments, but they also make great ingredients for using in my recipes too. I recently tried the Texas Pete Hot Sauce and CHA! by Texas Pete sriracha sauce in my favorite family dinner meals to add some great spicy taste, and I even tried mixing in the Texas Pete hot sauce into the tomato sauce when I recently made some pizza at home, and woah was it something- if you like spicy, Texas Pete can bring it!

Here is a great slow cooker chicken recipe we made last night with Texas Pete Hot Sauce and Texas Pete Cha!, a twist on my traditional Slow Cooker Chicken Recipe.

Directions
1. Add chicken, hot sauce, Cha!, olive oil, onions, and corn into slow cooker set on high and stir.
3. Cook on high for 3 1/2 hours. If you plan to serve over rice, cook rice while waiting.
4. Set slow cooker to keep warm, add salt and pepper to taste, and serve.

Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken tastes grear over rice or tortilla chips, on its own, or topped with cheese.

It’s super easy, and really good! If you love your food hot and spicy, you can add some Texas Pete as in ingredient into practically anything (and lots of it) but since I am more of a mild girl, I only added 1/4 cup of the hot sauce to my slow cooker Spicy Chicken recipe. I like some kick, but I want to be sure everyone can eat it and you can always add a little more if you want some more spicy flavor.

What can you add Texas Pete sauces to to create some hot recipes in your kitchen? It’s great in snacks, favorite recipes and sauces, and to top your traditional go to foods as well.
