A Kitchen Full Of Olive Wood

I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen, because I love to cook healthy meals for my family, and my focus in the last year has been upgrading my cookware and cooking utensils to be as safe, healthy, and useful as possible too. I fell in love with olive wood utensils after learning about how durable and safe they are, and learning that they won’t scratch metal cookware or impart any chemicals into food. Ever since, I have been replacing my metal, plastic and silicone cooking utensils with all olive wood kitchen utensils.

The problem? Olive wood tends to be very expensive, certainly more expensive than metal and plastic cooking utensils, and even pricier than other wooden utensils. The reason is that olive wood is more durable, less porous, and overall stronger and more beautiful. The grain of olive wood is just lovely and rich, and the scent of olive oil that emanates from the wood is so wonderful. I figured I would invest in one piece at a time, and was doing so (an olive wood spoon here, a spatula there), until I found Olivewood24.com, where quality, gorgeous olive wood kitchen utensils, and even beautifully designed cutting boards and ornate bowls, are more affordable and readily available.

This slotted spoon was so hard for me to find, but OliveWood24 has many similarly beautifully carved utensils. Cooking with them is a dream, they are gentle on all my cookware and safe to use with all types of foods.

Isn’t this utensil holder beautiful? It now contains several of my most beloved olive wood spoons.

The workmanship of the bowls and cutting boards is wonderful, they are so unique and would make beautiful gifts, for the foodie or for anyone who likes to present food beautifully. I’ve used some in photographs on the blog and love how elegantly they allow me to present foods I’ve prepared.

Display dinner, serve salad, store fruit, and more in gorgeous olive wood products with rich grain, to enhance and warm the atmosphere of your kitchen. Sourced from the Mediterranean, OliveWood24.com also takes special requests. If you’d like to peruse their line of stunning, skillfully carved olive wood home products, visit www.olivewood24.com. I was sent some pieces shown here to share with my friends and readers, and happily recommend them for anyone who is also looking to improve their kitchen with quality olive wood utensils affordably.

  • Those are definitely beautiful pieces. I like how they are art but also functional. I have an olive cross that my mom & dad brought back for me when they visited Israel. It sparks a lot of conversation when people see it!

I would LOVE that, is it available anywhere else? I want to buy a new cross and that would be so beautiful.

  • Mine is similar to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/171336756105?lpid=82 But If you do a search on “olive wood cross” I’d bet you’d find one that would be perfect for your home 🙂

I love cook with olive wood utensils. I order 2 pieces on the website you speak about to make a gift to my sister. She was so happy I guess she will order the all website soon lol Thank you for your advice. I recommend olivewood24 and if you go around aubagne in south of France you have to visit Le Moulin de La Michelle in Moulin de Redon. They have good wine, olive oil and very nice decoration stuff. When I go there I always find something.

  • I just adore these pieces and had no idea olive wood offers a chemical free cooking solution. I need to look into making the switch.
