Whole Grains Made Easy With @Roman_Meal Bread (+ A $2,500 Sweeps)

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Roman Meal. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Whole grains can be a hard thing to increase in our diets, but they are good for us, so foods that offer them are important. A great way to increase whole grains is with our bread, because we usually eat bread anyway (our breakfast toast, with our sandwiches, etc) and Roman Meal breads are made with whole grains, making it both easy and tasty to incorporate more whole grains easily.

Roman Meal bread is always baked fresh, locally, with more than 90 regional bakeries across the United States to deliver freshly baked bread to your local grocery store. Roman Meal “Baked Fresh Locally” initiative focuses on helping us always have freshly baked, whole grain breads on our table for our family. It’s never frozen, and it’s made from a blend of whole grains with a hint of molasses and honey- yum!

We got creative with our tasty Roman Meal bread and in addition to making sandwiches, made fun shapes with toast for our kids:

Another recipe I want to try is right from Roman Meal’s recipe site (there are so many great ones to check out there):

Roman Meal’s Whole Grains are a good source of vitamin D, calcium, and fiber, all of which busy moms and growing children need. Whole grains help with digestion and weight management, and most of us just don’t get enough whole grains in our diet.

  • I love your toast face! It’s pretty cool that they have so many bakeries to provide freshly baked bread in so many areas.

  • Looks delicious. I need to switch the family to whole grain instead of white.

  • This looks like a whole grain bread I might actually like. Most are so heavy and dense and just don’t taste good.

  • Penelope

It’s actually very light, and tastes great (really)…I always have that “blah” feeling about whole grain breads because of past experiences with them and this is fluffy and light, a really good toast or sandwich bread.

  • I haven’t heard of Roman Meal bread. I’ll have to try it out.

  • Donna

That mojito sandwich sounds so fresh and tasty!I buy Roman Meal’s bread a lot.

  • Few things can top a good sandwich made on soft fresh bread! The recipe above looks great.

  • It looks hearty, but not too hearty if you know what I mean. I’m going to pick up a loaf!

  • I would love to switch our bread. I have to do it slowly…

  • Sounds like a fun sandwich and I love the cut out, that is cute!

  • We are a whole grains family. I love the smiley face, too cute and that recipe sounds delicious!

  • Anna

I would really like to try their bread – it looks great and we eat a lot of bread in my family.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Sounds like great bread!

  • I love making shapes with bread. The children love it too.
