An Evening Walk

Now that the weather is becoming warmer and the days are so much longer, a friend and I took a walk through some woods with little man one evening before the sun set. He wasn’t a willing model, so I just photographed away as much as I could as he walked along and played.

I can’t wait for more evening walks with my boys…I love summer!

  • I love that you captured your son’s natural playfulness. Awesome!

  • Absolutely beautiful pictures!

  • Those pictures are stunning. Can you teach me how to shoot like that? lol.

  • I love that shot with his stuffed toy. It really captures that he was in his own little world at that moment. Enchanting.

  • Those pictures came out beautifully!

  • Those are beautiful. I love how you edited to focus on him and fuzz out the setting a bit.

  • Wow, beautiful shots Penelope! I love spring/summer as well. We enjoy an evening walk every single day!

Ok, I love these pics so gloomy but fun.

  • Beautiful pictures! It’s so nice to be able to get out for a walk again.

What beautiful photos, Penelope! I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, you could be a professional photographer. These look like they came out of a magazine.

That is in camera, I don’t change the focus in editing (the dog was blurry because he was too close too focus on, lol)

  • Penelope

That made my day, thanks Donna 🙂

  • I love walks in the woods. Your pics came out great.

  • What a cutie pie!! Looks like they are best friends in that photo :-)!

  • Is that a little toy elephant next to him in the one pic? I love it! It’s like he’s totally having an experience with his ‘friend’ 🙂

  • Those are some great pictures! I need to get out with the kids on walks more. Problem is we have sports or scouts almost every night so it’s mad rush from the time they get home from school!

  • Love the area you are taking a walk in and you got some great photos without his participation.

  • I think random spur of the moment real shots are always the best. These are stunning!

  • The natural photos you took turned out great! Some times they are better than staged ones. 🙂

  • That’s one thing I love doing during the warm seasons, because those walks are non-existent during winter (can’t deal with cold weather!).

  • There’s something about kids playing in nature which just tugs at my heart. It’s just a beautiful thing.
