NYC Event Thursday 3/7: Downy and ZzzQuil Sleep Fest At Penn Station (Near Amtrak) 3-7 PM #DownyNightSleep

Finding a good night sleep a little more elusive than it should be? I know the feeling! If you read my post yesterday, you know I’ve been struggling with getting a good night sleep in a house with little ones.

Since I’m always looking for ways to help myself (and my readers) get our much needed rest, I’m looking forward to the Sleep Fest this Thursday at Penn Station in New York City, where I can learn new ideas and to try out products specifically designed to help us get those hard-to-get zzz’s.

On Thursday, March 7th in New York City, join me at Penn Station (near Amtrak) for the Downy and ZzzQuil Sleep Fest from 3-7, where Downy and ZzzQuil are teaming up to help tuck in New York City!

It’s National Sleep Awareness Week, and hosts Taniya Nayak (HGTV), and Dr. Joseph Ojile (NSF) will be helping attendees learn how to create the perfect sleep environment. The event will feature interactive stations for attendees such as a photo booth, a bed with Downy washed sheets, a dream station, and product samples.

Products you can learn about include Downy Infusions Lavender Serenity liquid fabric softener and Downy Unstopables Lush in-wash scent booster, to help to create the perfect sleep environment (the scent lavender is well known for helping us achieve a more restful sleep naturally), and ZzzQuil, non habit forming help for occassional sleeplessness.

If you are seeking a better night sleep, stop by the Sleep Fest at Penn Station on your way home from work and learn more!

Follow @Downy on Twitter and use the hashtag #downynightsleep and Downy may select you to receive a sleep makeover kit!

And to get you ready for the event, you can read my posts on creating a bedroom oasis, utterly dreamy sleeping alcoves, choosing soothing colors for your home, and ways to get your baby to sleep, for inspiration and ideas for having a dreamy sleep.

Man, I would love to jump in that bad. It looks so comfy.

  • Tammy

Yes. Yes, I need some sleep! I would so be there if I were close by. My sleep deprivation is not from children (she let me sleep from 3 weeks on)…it’s now from my husband snoring 😉

  • We have a great mattress…it’s the insomnia that keeps me awake. That and two feisty kittens who like to attack my feet at 3 am! LOL

  • Donna

My hubby is the culprit that keeps me awake from time to time. But he suffers from insomnia. 🙁 So he’s the one that doesn’t sleep in our home.

  • I could use some sleep!!

  • Penelope

    So stop by 🙂

  • I always use the Lavender Downey with all my loads of sheets and towels. Smells so yum!

  • loveee your cozy bedroom!

  • I want to go!

  • HAHA Mine won’t let me sleep either. She just turned 1

  • I thought my sleep number bed was going to be the best sleep of all sleeps but it is falling short. I would love to attend something like this with some great tips.

  • That bed looks so comfy!

  • I could use an event like that!

  • When we start co-sleeping with my son, he started sleeping through the night. I’m glad this worked for us because I was exhausted.

  • how great is that I bet someone was really excited to win that

  • Penelope

We co-slept with our older son, but removed him from our bed when he would wake up baby #2 in his crib at night (so he is now in his own room) and our little one crawls out of bed (falls) at night, so we can’t co-sleep with him for his safety until he learns not to just crawl off the bed. But he’ll probably be sleeping with us at some point too.

  • Your bedroom looks so comfy.

  • That bed looks like pure comfort!

  • I definitely need to learn sleep tips, no matter what time I go to bed I am still up at 3:30-4:30…it’s getting annoying LOL

  • That bed looks very dream inducing to me!
