Five Ways To Wear @Gap 1969 Slim Jeans For Men #DenimEvolved

What do you do when you’re married to a caveman who wears the same thing every day? How about buy him what you’d like him to wear? My husband always wears faded blue jeans, the kind that scream “cop!” but (as I’ve mentioned quite a few times) I always preferred a bit of a preppier look. I dress my sons so of course I can get them to wear what I like, but my husband tends to have his own taste.

So I shopped for a new pair of jeans for my husband, a pair of Gap Men’s 1969 Slim Jeans in Starlight, a total detour from his norm, and to me he looks fabulous in them. He insisted they weren’t his style, he wouldn’t be comfortable in them… then he spied himself in the mirror, and his tune changed quite a bit (he plans to keep them).

(i’m surprised he wasn’t tipped off about how great they looked when the gentleman at the Gap who was helping him kept flirting with him)

They are great for days he is playing around with our boys or just relaxing and wants to be more casual, but still comfortable and stylish. The 1969 Slim Jeans for men look great with a tee or with a polo shirt:

He can wear them out and about with a sweater or sweatshirt (a hooded sweatshirt for these cold winter days!):

He can dress his Gap 1969 Slim Jeans up a bit with a white shirt for our date night, and even a cotton blazer for dressier, non-formal events (like a dinner, a meeting at work, etc):

Gap’s 1969 Slim Jeans for men are a versatile and flattering fashion piece for a man’s wardrobe, with lots of mix and match possibilities (most men tend to be minimalist so they would appreciate this). The color makes it especially adaptable for different events and all-year round wear. He can wear them into the spring and look great (and they were only $59.95). Gap is offering Women’s Skimmer as well, in a variety of colors, which I plan to take a look at for myself, especially with an upcoming trial offer.
