Capturing The Day With The Panasonic #Lumix G5

I’m a shutterbug mom, and my favorite photography subjects are my boys, my home, and lifestyle shots. I recently had the opportunity to try out the new Panasonic Lumix G5 camera, with 14 creative filters to enhace my photos, and had a great time taking shots around my home and neighborhood with and without the filters.

I walked around outside my door, and got a great shot of a neighboring house with full bloom autumn colors:

beautiful neighborhood photography

I applied some of the creative filters in the Lumix for fun (just select the look you want and shoot!)…some of my favorites are the retro filter:

the sepia filter:

The 14 filters include soft focus, dynamic monochrome, impressive art (a favorite), one point color (another favorite), cross process, low key, high key, toy effect, star filter (really pretty), expressive, retro, sepia, high dynamic, and miniature effects. My favorite filters on the Panasonix Lumix G5 are the star filter, one point color, retro and impressive art, and are the ones I used the most to create some beautiful photos.

The star filter makes the most ordinary photos sparkle:

I went around the neighborhood taking lots of shots with my favorite filter…what do you think?

Dynamic monochrome (great contrast):

and just having fun with my favorite creative filters:

All photos taken with the Panasonic Lumix G5 Camera and 14-42mm lens and various creative filters.

I was sent the camera to review, any opinions are 100% my own.
