It’s a Hello Kitty World!

Hello Kitty was the rage while I was growing up, and every girl had something with the famous kittycat… Apparently Sanrio’s little kitten struck a cord with girls everywhere because her popularity is still going strong, and today many women my own age (and even a guy I know) still collect and proudly display Hello Kitty paraphernalia. (I confess I myself bought a gold Hello Kitty contant lens case just a few years back)

Did you know that a collectible Hello Kitty collectible snow globe sells for $10,000 on ebay? And the bidding on a swarovsi crystal covered Hello Kitty starts at $25,000? That is probably something a real fan would do…you know, the type that lives in a HELLO KITTY HOUSE (!!!):

Ok…are these taking it just too far??? (I’m guessing the Louis Vuitton bong is not authentic, unless they teamed up with Sanrio, and I never thought the kitten was much for violence, but I like that she is into science and biology)
