These look great! I love that they have olive oil instead of milk.

  • Heather @ Girl Gone Mom

They look delicious! I can never get all of the lumps out. But I don’t mind lumps.

  • I make mine with milk, butter and sour cream. Your way looks a lot healthier!

  • Kelly

Yum! These sound really good and much healthier than using butter or cream!

  • I could eat mashed potatoes alone for a meal. I love them!

I just use some no salt (olive oil based) marg. and skim milk. You can add a little cheese if you like but my hubby hates that so i use garlic, chives or green onions; salt and pepper to taste. My gf makes the most amazing mashed potatoes by putting ranch salad dressing in hers their to DIE FOR; not figure friendly though but she doesn’t need to worry about that.

Oh yum. I’ve been lazy lately using the packaged stuff. Homeade is always so much better!

Those look seriously tasty! Mashed potatoes are one of my all-time favorite side dishes and have been my entree more times than I care to admit.

  • Tammy

I admit I’m lazy and buy the pre-cut frozen ones that you just need to nuke and smash…..

  • Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  • Oh YUMMY! I’ll have to try adding the olive oil! Thanks for sharing!

I like anything with potatoes in it! I like to use a potato ricer. It’s so much faster and I like to put garlic salt and garlic chives in it! 🙂
