Little Man’s First Pair Of Snow Boots

We have some beautiful, snowy winters here in New York, and last year little man ventured out into the snow a bit, but not much. Now that he is two, and extremely adventurous, we know he’ll be out there making snow angels and snowmen, so it was time to get him snow gear to keep him warm in all that ice and snow. He is now the proud owner and wearer of a pair of rugged, manly, waterproof winter boots for children, from Keen Footwear.

These are the Pyrenees WP boots in Gargoyle, a pair of waterproof, breathable, Nubuck leather children snow boots that laces to above the ankles and keeps the warm and cold out. Our little guy loves to run around in puddles, and basically do everything he isn’t supposed to, so the Pyrenees WP winter snow boots will at least keep him warm and dry while he makes us chase after him. The soles are rubber and have good traction, great for those icy patches, and the fact that they are both waterproof and breathable really sold us on it.

These Pyrenees WP boots retail for about $70 and are a great investment for all winter-long footwear for your children. They can be worn to school, on the playground, out in the snow, for hikes (until he konks out anyway), and they are actually gender-neutral, so your girls can wear them too. They are made to last, so our next child will be sporting them as well.

What do you think of our son’s first pair of winter snow boots?
