Beasties #Craft Book Review & Giveaway

If you enjoy crafts and have or care for children, you’ll really enjoy Beasties by Diana Schoenbrun. Beasties teaches you how to make 22 mischievous and well-known monsters, such as the Lochness, Cyclops, and Chonchon, all from scratch. Different monsters are available for different skill levels, a list of materials is provided, as well as patterns and full step by step instructions. You can also customize your monster to your preference, and the end result is rather cute, not so much scary, boogie men for your children to stretch their imaginations playing with.

The witches and zombies, and more featured throughout this book are pretty easy to make and require only basic materials, but the end results:

look as good as, if not better, than many of the plush monster dolls in stores. These would be great for play-time, to display, for theater-time with the kids, and much more. The whimsical fantasy and fairy tale games that can be inspired by these fabulously fun creatures will offer hours of entertainment, both while making them, and while playing with them. Best of all, the pride your children feel having toys they made will make these little monsters all the more cherished.

I love doing crafts with my kids, my son loves to make things, he has a rather unique style, he only uses shades of blue–refuses to use any other colors!!!
